Altech Netstar has launched a sophisticated personal tracking device and emergency response service called GUARDIAN™.
If you are in trouble or in danger, simply call for the help of our very experienced recovery teams, by the press of a button. In addition to our large network of ground recovery teams, and tracking helicopters, we have also introduced rapid response motorcycles to ensure the quickest possible response to your personal emergency.

Guardian ™ features
Device A small, mobile, GPS/GSM based tracking system enabling you to conduct live tracking of your loved ones. An SOS feature on the hand-held device to notify Altech Netstar and a maximum of 2 other emergency numbers in the case of an emergency (via sms). Unauthorised movement sms alert to a maximum of 2 numbers. Internet Access This is an easy-to-use internet based personal tracking system. GPS positioning information transmitted via GPRS, to provide real-time positions and historical movement reports (minimum report intervals of 3 minutes), overlaid on detailed street-level maps. Ability to configure 2 SOS contact numbers in case of emergencies.

How to get started
Once you have purchased your Guardian™ personal tracking device please call our Customer Service dept. on (011) 207-5006 or 083 900 5006 to activate your unit.
Activation of the unit could take up to 24 hours on weekdays and 72 hours over weekends.
Once your Guardian™ personal tracking device is activated you are then required to register online at http://www.guardian.co.za
